In collaboration with the community and public officials, Street-Works created a development plan for the City of Falls Church, Virginia. Lacking a central gathering spot, public interests focused on making a memorable “place” for the residents, as well as adding to the city’s tax base. Through numerous public workshops and private meetings with stakeholders, Street-Works recommended a mix of market-appropriate residential, office and retail uses surrounding a significant open place.

The website for the City of Falls Church says it very clearly: “With the help of Street-Works, a nationally renowned urban design and market analysis firm, a City Center Strategic Plan was produced that captured the imagination of the people of Falls Church.”
