Street-Works acted as the retail consultant and architect to Tishman-Speyer Properties for the redevelopment of this extraordinarily successful 700,000 square foot structure along Manhattans historic Ladies Mile shopping district.
Our team initiated the concept of developing the site as a street-related, mixed-use building with big box retail anchors, long before any other retailers occupied the 6th Avenue district. With 80,000 square foot floor plates, the building offered opportunities to tenants including Bed Bath & Beyond, T.J. Maxx and Filenes Basement that were unparalleled in the city. The Gap Product Development office occupies the upper floors.
